Had a previous crown from another dentist come off flossing over the weekend. I was able to quickly schedule a next day emergency appointment to get it checked out at a convenient and early time for me. I filled out the online forms as I am a new patient from just moving out of Lewisville and got brought back quickly to do x rays. Dr. Igun explained the situation after giving me an examination and let me know that since the tooth was already ground down and there were cavities that formed under the crown they may need to do a root canal because it was going to be close to the nerve. She was patient and calm when explaining to me and I agreed to go for it. They got my cavities cleaned and were able to make a permanent crown in house which was awesome! I was in and out within 3 hours with the permanent crown cemented and she was able to save my tooth from having a root canal! Both Dr. Igun and the assistant were fantastic and saved my bacon. They did not try to upsell, do a cleaning or anything the other reviews mentioned, so I am going to continue coming here for our family needs as they have a diverse and specialized team. I scheduled my 6 month cleaning and will write how that goes! Thank you to the team at Mckinney Dental Group!

The doctor was very gentle, knowledgeable
and explained everything before the procedure, during, and afterwards.
The front office receptionist, though was supposedly very new I guess, and it took unusually long time to check out.
